The Yamaha 242 Limetid is a family-friendly, comfortable sports boat with very good drivability. It is easily maneuverable and spacious, with room to seat 10 people comfortably. Gas consumption is only 9.8 GPH at an average speed of 31.7 MPH. Very economical with the large V8 motors compared to other sports boats. Sprints from 0 to 30 MPH in just 4.3 sec. Reaches glide phase within only 2.5 sec; other similarly sized sports boats require approx. 9 sec. Top speed is 51 MPH, or a little over 90 km/h.
The boat is fully equipped with all fixtures: GPS, depth gauge, compass, satellite radio, even an iPhone connector for the music system. The Yamaha boat also boasts Cruise Assist and a 3-speed No Wake Mode which prevents it from driving too quickly in no wake zones, a very useful feature for cruising on the canals in Cape Coral.
